Dear WHS Seniors & Families,

Welcome to your senior year at Weston High School! It is with great pride and excitement that we welcome you to the final chapter of your k-12 educational journey. This year marks an important milestone, one filled with leadership, growth, reflection, and the anticipation of what is to come.

As seniors, you step into a new role within our school community: that of leaders. The Class of 2026 will set the tone for the building, modeling what it means to show kindness, resilience, and responsibility. Your presence influences the spirit and culture of Weston High School every day through the energy you bring to the hallways, the example you set in classrooms, and the enthusiasm you show at games, performances, and school events. We encourage you to embrace this opportunity with pride and purpose.

The year ahead is both exciting and demanding. Fall brings a fast-paced mix of college applications, post-secondary planning, coursework, extracurricular commitments, and treasured senior traditions. Balancing all of this will require organization, self-awareness, and a willingness to ask for support when needed. We are here to partner with you and your families as you navigate this busy season.

In the months to come, we hope you’ll find moments to celebrate your achievements, deepen your connections with each other, and take pride in how far you’ve come all while respecting the community that has supported you over the years. This is your time to lead, to enjoy, and to look forward with confidence to the adventures ahead. Let’s make this final year one to remember.

Below is your to-do list as we head into the fall. If you have not yet scheduled your senior portrait, please make this a priority!

Senior Portraits

We have two senior portrait photographers for you to choose from. Seniors must have their portraits taken by either Robert Taylor or Suzanne Sheridan so that they may be submitted to our yearbook. Please see each of their websites and corresponding information to make an appointment. All senior portraits must be completed by October 31st in order to appear in the yearbook.

Senior Car Decorating

Monday August 25th in the senior parking lot from 1-3pm. Students should bring their own car markers and be sure to clean up after themselves. This is a great kick off to the start of the school year for our seniors! Seniors will also receive their senior t-shirts if they have ordered one!

Senior Lawn Signs

It’s time to order your lawn signs (& graduation flamingo—yours to keep!) for the Class of 2026:  click here.  The deadline to order is August 11th! Order now so lawn signs can be placed in time for the start of the school year. Sponsored by the WHS PTO.

Senior Girls T-shirts

Senior girls will be celebrating their arrival into senior year by wearing their own special pink shirts on Thursday, August 28th. If you would like to order a shirt for your daughter, please follow the link here. Be sure to check with them to make sure they haven’t ordered one already!

Legacy Bricks & Flocking (PTO fundraisers)

Leave your mark on the WHS campus with the purchase of a legacy brick. Our north courtyard (school counseling courtyard) is in the process of being upgraded. Purchase your brick to have it installed in this new space in the coming year!

  • We are bringing back the flocking this fall.  To flock your friends and neighbors (or yourself!), click here

Senior Parking

Senior Parking forms will be available prior to the start of school. More information to follow. If students would like to ensure that they have a parking spot for the first day of school they, be sure to fill this out ahead of time and get it into school. Information will be in the next letter to all students and families.

You’ll be hearing more in the weeks ahead. Please enjoy these beautiful days of summer!

Kindly,

Ms. Conetta
