Dear WHS Students, Staff, and Families,
I'd like to wish all of the fathers a very happy Father's Day today. This comes after the most joyous of our celebrations, the Class of 2025 Commencement Friday evening. It was such a wonderful night and the timing of the weather couldn't have been better. From the performances to the speeches and everything in between it captured the spirit of our students and Weston! Thank you to those who helped coordinate all of the end of year festivities for our seniors, especially Mrs. Herford, Mr. Chappa, and Ms. Zanghi as well as our facilities and grounds crews who created a beautiful setting. The CT Post featured some pictures from the ceremony. A reminder to our seniors to be please be sure to transfer your school Google Drives to your personal Google Drives. You will lose access to your school drives on June 30th. Ensure you are logged into your Weston Google account and go to https://takeout.google.com/ For a full walkthrough, see this Google Support article https://support.google.com/acc To our returning students in 9th-11th grade. We are wishing you all the best as you take the summer to recharge and join us once again in the fall. Rising seniors will benefit from checking a few things off your lists this summer and underclassmen, take some time to read a good book and just enjoy the small moments of summer. You can find some suggestions for summer reading and math work at the link HERE.
For those students enrolled in AP classes next year, be sure to check the summer assignments website linked HERE and on the WHS website. Not all AP classes have summer assignment so be sure to check it out.
The last day for teachers is Tuesday, June 17th. We thank our families and students for your partnership over this last school year and we're looking forward to another great year when we return to school on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Wishing you all a safe, adventurous, fun, and relaxing summer!
Kindly,
Meghan Conetta |
