Vandalism Incident

Dear Weston High School Families,

Yesterday afternoon, our school was made aware of an incident of vandalism in one of our team locker rooms involving the presence of a swastika symbol on a student’s locker. This symbol represents hate, intolerance, and discrimination, all of which have no place in our school community.

We take this matter extremely seriously and are actively investigating the situation. Our administrative team is working with our school resource officer and relevant organizations to ensure this behavior is addressed swiftly and with the gravity it deserves. Furthermore, we are committed to creating a plan to educate our students about the harm caused by symbols of hate and to reinforce our community’s values of respect, inclusion, and kindness.

Weston High School is a place where all students should feel safe and valued. We will not tolerate any act or symbol that seeks to undermine that principle. Thank you for your support as we continue to work toward maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all.

Kindly,

Meghan Conetta

Principal
