Dear WHS Students and Families, 

As you may know Ms. Givoni has been selected as the Director of Human Resources for the Weston Public Schools and Mr. Filip has decided to return to the classroom as a math teacher at Weston High School. We are so lucky to be able to continue to learn from these highly skilled educators.

This is an exciting time for WHS! We had a very competitive pool of skilled applicants for our assistant principal positions. After a very thorough interview process I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Parthena Proskinitopoulos and Mr. Nicholas Torres have been selected as our two new Assistant Principals.

Dr. Proskinitopoulos is coming to us from a principalship at Coleytown Middle School in Westport where she has been a student centered school leader who has developed trusting relationships with students, staff and families. Mr. Torres, as you know, has been a dedicated team member at Weston High School, where he has shown his dedication in his curriculum and instruction work with our social studies department as well as his commitment to WHS through his work on various committees and school programs. 

We are thrilled to have both Dr. Proskinitopoulos and Mr. Torres join our administrative team! Please see the attached press release for additional information.
